This video is a workaround for creating a custom message to add to a complimentary Shopify gift card. Currently there is no way to customize Shopify's outgoing message that is sent with a gift card. This solution shows how to create a temporary outgoing message for sending complimentary gift cards to your customers, and how to revert to the default gift card message afterwards.
